Dr Barbara Bulkeley

Barbara teaches in the Counselling programme with special emphasis in the Families strand of papers.  She is the Counselling Programme Co-ordinator and has been with BTI since 2009.  Graduating in 2010 with her PhD from Auckland University, Barbara's research interests include talking with families about the impact of a depressed adolescent and also trying to find out why some students do not complete their studies.  The title of her thesis was "School Guidance Counsellors and Adolescent Depression."
