BTI has developed a distance learning system called 'Flexi' which has proved increasingly popular over the last five years. This online learning option is uniquely designed for those who live outside of Tauranga or who wish to have a more flexible approach to their study timetable. Now you can experience many of BTI's quality programmes from anywhere in New Zealand!

Flexi is a combination of independent study using an online learning website, a study guide and CD of readings plus onsite face-to-face intensives at the BTI campus.

We are aiming for a relational community of learners who will interact, support and journey together as a group. For students at a distance, studying by Flexi mode, this will be achieved by:

• Interaction and communication by e-learning through emails and discussions via internet (for which Broadband is required)
• Telephone conversations
• Study groups of students (where possible)
• Self-study course material and readings
• Face-to-face teaching in intensive onsite blocks at the BTI campus
